hello,

have had issue 1 year in win 10.  using win home v 10.0.15063
issue started after 1 or 2 os updates after original install of win 10 in 2016.
not sure vs culprit starting problem.

issue being when right-click on application, , right-click on context menu run administrator, should able open administrator, yet cannot.

have tried open selected app through start menu, file explorer or via toolbar no success.
 
believe important issue, many times when administrator privileges needed, don't have them though administrator of machine.
also, if logged in local administrator , account administrator, believe should have access administrative files necessary @ time, yet not.

whats cause of issue , how fix?

thousand bouquets have suggestions or comments irritating problem.

1 possible reason why option no longer available may due corrupted profile. know if have tried creating , logging in using new local administrator account. if not, kindly refer article on how create local administrator account: create local user or administrator account in windows 10.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
