USB3.0 Ports aren't working on W10 - Microsoft Community

sine last month have problem usb3.0 ports motherboard(asus z170-a). have latest drivers asus, latest bios , latest windows 10 version. problem can't use 3.0 drive(externat hdd/flash drive) on 3.0 ports , error(). 2.0 drives works same 3.0 drives in 3.1 ports(controlled asmedia controlled/driver) . meanwhile works under unbuntu.

i reinstaled windows 3 times, did bios reset removing battery , unpluging 20 mins, reinstaled drivers still nothing.

i tryed older windows 10 verions ( 17.03.2017) , before instaling new updates 3.0 usb ports worked well.

this how device manager looks when insert usb 3.0 drive.

windows 10 educational, version 1703, build 15063.540 .

hardware : cpu: i5 6600k, mb: asuz z170-a, gpu: r9 280x gigabyte.

any ideea how solve ? or should wait new update microsoft solve issue?

this caused driver issues, controller bugs, or device problems. troubleshoot this, suggest follow methods given karthicka_r on thread: last usb device connected computer has malfunctioned , windows doesn't recognize it. please first answer found helpful 67 people.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
