Super buggy language settings after lock screen/user change for - Microsoft Community

this has been ongoing problem long time, on several of computers, 1 @ home shared several users.

live in sweden, , have laptop swedish keyboard , external swedish keyboard.  i don't own keyboard, have never, ever bothered install keyboard.  however, right now, struggling type because, once again, ghost keyboard has come haunt me, keys have moved around.

here screen shot of "quick" language settings, @ moment, keyboard shouldn't exist.

however, have never installed keyboard. ever. if click on language preferences, apparent.

us keyboard not installed english, yet keeps coming haunt me, , stupid bug has been appearing long time.

i have feeling bugs never addressed because nobody in redmond uses international keyboard quick tests "seem work."

i have 1 keyboard installed, no keyboard anywhere, yet keeps coming back.  please fix asap!

for better assist you, we'd know following:

  • confirm build installed on device. check, follow steps below:
  1. press windows key + r, type in winver.
  2. click ok.
  • were there recent changes made prior issue?
  • what troubleshooting steps have done far?

meanwhile, recommend performing steps worked sba in thread to remove keyboard layout in windows 10.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance.
