i not want have blatt pc , resinstall apps again year.

everything working fine till today when noticed had no apps in system tray except windows defender - f-secure anti-virus gone , wont start above error (but has service running) - cant open of apps (origin/blizzard/vmware workstation etc..) due error app can't run on pc

latest windows update status cumulative update windows 10 version 1703 x64-based systems (kb4048954) has failed - in eventvwr;

installation failure: windows failed install following update error 0x8007025d: 2017-11 cumulative update windows 10 version 1703 x64-based systems (kb4048954).

multiple errors in eventvwr things couldnt start arent compatible.

cant run chkdsk /r nother process using disk - scheduled reboot - ran , completed instantly no change

cant run sfc /scanow service using disk

tried system restore failed - 2 recent restore points 25/11 , 21/11 created windows update/critical update

tried stopping services cant work out whats locking machine up

any ideas? im sick of operating system bailing on me when need - vista more useable

moved ( windows / windows 10 / windows update, recovery, & backup )

try downloading windows 10 1703 iso try performing repair upgrade:

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
