Briefcase Feature in Windows 10 - Microsoft Community

it seems in last winows 10 update, ability use briefcase feature has been remove previous versions.

the advantage of briefcase use external drive or flash drive incrementally transfer files 1 computer another.  incrementally update files external device , same on new computer.  when using other computer, incrementally due "refresh" (or backup) external device , external device taken original computer , update files.  great because, when traveling not have access cloud or hotel wifi slow can never large files upload before have leave.

reason can imagine microsoft not reinstate briefcase sell "cloud" space. seems not interested in true customer service when take away product has served many long time.

  1. on windows 10 device, search feedback hub in cortana search, launch app.
  2. navigate feedback in left menu, press + add new feedback.
  3. select problem, , share details think relevant, , choose appropriate category , subcategory.
  4. once you’ve completed form, click submit.
  5. click continue using feedback hub.
  6. click my feedback @ top, find item submitted (it may take while appear).
  7. open item submitted, click share.
  8. click copy link, paste link here in response (it https://aka.ms/<unique link>).

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
