Attempting system repairs options, Windows won't accept my - Microsoft Community

i began installing corel video studio x10 ultimate upgrade x9, , download began installing machine rebooted greenscreen.

as attempted of options each requested password. use same password online on computer synch windows email, onedrive , logins across 3 computers.

i using 1 of other machines write this, , logged in machine , forum same password.

on machine in question, use pin. 1 use facial recognition.

taking wild guess, thinking greenscreen machine expecting old password, not going know. (i change them frequently)

does have clue how works? how logged in?

safe mode networking doesn't work. safe mode doesn't work. either wants password or greenscreens.

please answer of following [admittedly tedious] diagnostic questions number, preferably without quoting post:

1. when (approx. date) did purchase computer?

2. did computer come win10 preinstalled, did clean install of win10, or did upgrade win7 computer or win8.1 computer [<=pick one!] win10?

3. manufactured computer (e.g., dell; hp; acer; lenovo; asus)?

4. has norton application or mcafee application ever been installed on computer since bought it?

5. have ever run norton removal tool and/or mcafee consumer products removal tool?

6. version & os build of windows 10 installed?

• press & hold windows key , press r key. in run dialog, type winver , press enter key.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
