With the november 17 update, my speakers stopped working on my laptop. - Microsoft Community


after update, of sudden speakers not work either in way. not external speakers or internal ones.  there flash note said had been turned off microsoft.  why , how them on.  have never had problem before.  why can't microsoft make sure products work before put them on our computers?

make , model of computer?

first, run playing audio troubleshoot - open start > settings > update & security > troubleshoot
scroll down, select playing audio
click run troubleshooter

when complete, restart computer check if audio working again.

press windows key + x
click device manager
expand sound, video , game controllers

right click audio adapter
click properties
click driver tab

there option rollback?
if so, click it.

open start, type: change sound card
select playback
right click speakers
click set default device if isn't

select speakers
click properties
click levels tab
use slider adjust level
