Windows Update this morning, Now PC boots but appears to disable usb - Microsoft Community

my son update windows 10 am.  computer goes through boot , when arrives @ screen click on drag , login screen.  usb ports appear go dead.  light go out on keyboard, no keyboard or mouse functionality.  both work in bios screen , on repair boot disk.  not hardware.

any appreciated

recent cumulative update causing lot of problems systems windows 10 1703.

can try manually remove booting safe mode:

power on , off computer 3 times
on third time, computer boot advanced recovery environment
click advanced options
click troubleshoot
click advanced options
click startup settings
click restart
press (4) enable safe mode
wait while windows 10 starts in safe mode.
log in

press windows key + r
type: appwiz.cpl
hit enter
click view installed updates
select recent update
(this update want uninstall kb4041676)
right click click uninstall.

try uninstalling update see if restores functionality.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
