Paperport 14 compatibility with Creators update - Microsoft Community

paperport 14 problem

machine: i7 quad core, 64 bit windows 10 home edition, 16 gb ram, 128gb ssd, 1 tb hard drive, laptop

scanner: epson ds-510

paperport version 14.5

system functioning prior creator update. after update following error message appears double click of icon: “this application unable start correctly  0xc000007b” , no other indication given.

programs , os installed on ssd (c drive) , data located on d drive.

the problem has been through troubleshooting process @ nuance without success. process involved removing paperport instructions, including remnant files , folders, , running ccleaner registry cleaner, restarting machine, , reinstalling paperport program. has been done several times no change in outcome.

i using same program , version on similar machine (same asus , processor, etc, except having 252gb ssd , windows 10 pro, creator edition.

error message means "status_invalid_image_format".

to resolve concern, recommend follow steps provided zigzag3143 on thread , check if helps.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
