Logging is doubled after upgrade - Microsoft Community

hello, 

a few months ago, had conduct system restore because picked virus packed in free software. after restore, user name in c:\users folder has changed from c:\users\dragan to c:\users\draga. also, have called defauluser0 , have no idea purpose of folder. nevertheless, laptop working well, accepted it. 

after latest upgrade, feature upgrade windows 10 1709, weird thing happening have log on twice on system boot. after first logging, log on screen , after second logging access files. 

are these symptoms related , how fix it?

moved from: windows / windows 10 / windows update, recovery, & backup

thanks update. our software engineers have found if toggle off setting in privacy settings, should have sign-in once. see steps below:

  1. go settings.
  2. click on accounts.
  3. click on sign-in options.
  4. scroll down privacy, , click toggle switch turn off use sign-in info automatically finish setting device after update or restart.
  5. restart your pc.

note said feature available on pcs not managed enterprises. includes home pcs synced enterprise (work, school, etc.,) email.

should encounter further issues, let know.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
