Cannot install update and numpad not working in Word or Excel - Microsoft Community

2017-09 cumulative update windows 10 version 1703 x64-based systems (kb4038788) , microsoft fix won't  install, , numpad doesn't work in word or excel (works in other apps) num lock on.

does have solution or of these problems?

start running keyboard troubleshooter. open start > settings > update & security > troubleshoot, scroll down keyboard select it, click run troubleshooter when complete, restart check if functionality restored press windows key + r type: appwiz.cpl hit enter click view installed updates select recent update right click click uninstall. try uninstalling update see if restores functionality. press windows key + r type: appwiz.cpl hit enter open view installed updates right click installed updates since started happening click uninstall restart computer check if can use keyboard again. if not press windows key + x click device manager expand keyboards right click on keyboard , click uninstall exit device manager restart computer, check if can use keyboard again.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
