Windows Update gives me an awful driver - Microsoft Community

hello, fellow youngsters!

here's thing, installed fall creators update, , came terrible upgrade trackpad: elan pointing device driver.

previously, got tremendously fine windows' ps/2 compatible mouse driver. now, cant roll using device manager. figured uninstall elan's driver , on business, discovered works until next reboot. keeping uptime high can don't have deal sluggish , resource hungry elan driver, believe there must way either block updates specific device or block developers' software installing, right?

does know how can stop specific driver installing via windows update?
