Permanent FPS drop in all games. - Microsoft Community

i have noticed fps in games such league of legends , minecraft have dropped significantly. used run around 120-140 fps in league of legends , best can run 60 fps, if using lowest settings. thing have changed got new pair of headphones didn't work manually reinstalled drivers (realtek hd audio) fix it.  i stated noticing fps drops downloaded optimization apps such razer app , geforce experience none of have helped. security software date , working there slim chance it's malware not out of picture download stuff minecraft. if has ideas or solutions throw them way. 

computer(laptop) msi ge62 2qd apache pro 

specs:

processor: intel(r) core(tm) i7-5700hq cpu @ 2.70ghz  2.70ghz

ram: 8 gb

system type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

graphics card: nvidia gtx960m

hi,

outdated drivers, cpu-intensive processes running in background, virus , malware infection, , cpu throttling reasons sudden fps drop when playing games.

for isolate issue , provide suitable resolution, know following:

  • when last time have installed latest drivers on computer latest game updates?
  • have checked cpu temperature while playing games?
  • when last time have cleaned laptop?
  • when last time run full scan on laptop check virus , malware?

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance.
