hi,
because of different problems reinstalled win 7 on desktop pc. reinstalled apps , worked well. after couple of weeks of observations decided upgrade win 10 since running trouble free.
since then, when try wake-up pc sleep mode, shuts down , have restart use it.
note changed nothing in bios. settings are:
- acpi suspend type: s3
- remote wake up: enabled
- ac recovery: off
- auto power on: disabled
note power plan options set balanced default values.
can me this?
this total non-sense since pc working trouble free under win 7.
thanks in advance,

make , model of computer?
version of windows 10 attempting install: 1507, 1511, 1607, 1703?
computers firmware, deals things power management, related sleep needs updated. remember, issue experiencing here outside of windows, not resuming sleep. windows in saved state on hard disk , can't manage hardware resources, thats left firmware (your bios) handle. so, obvious more hardware issue software, updated driver software can fix it.
suggest need update chipset drivers , bios.
recommend update critical ones: bios, chipset, display driver, network
uninstall display driver restart
boot windows 10 desktop
press windows key + x
click device manager
expand display adapters
right click current display adapter
click uninstall
exit device manager
restart
if not work, well, need try else. try resetting bios:
