ctfmon.exe (CTF loader) crashes every 3 second. - Microsoft Community

i've had problem again , again after fcu. re-installed windows 10 either update or iso multiple times. un-installed languages other english(us). none solve issue. 

every time re-install os problem goes away while. able use pc few days until morning. problem appeared again now. 

even though microsoft claimed bug fixed in build 16232, not. bug never fixed. appeared time time in each build since 16226 , every time shows "fix" re-install windows until shows next time.

this bug not show on every pc, have 3 pc , bug shows on 2. 

please release program undo fcu, fall creators update complete trash numerous bugs (i can no longer install cuda toolkit after fcu).

there may problem ctfmon.exe why you're experiencing issue. ctfmon.exe controls/activates microsoft office language bar , alternative user input text input processor. if add secondary language input on keyboard, ctfmon.exe run. since computer has windows 10 fall creators update, suggest install latest cumulative update available on computer.

if issue still persists, kindly try run computer in clean boot , check if issue persists. run computer in clean boot, can follow steps in link.

if have other feedback regarding fall creators update, encourage submit using feedback hub. can either vote on existing submission or submit new issue. when submit feedback item, gather additional details , information issue determine what’s causing , address it. feedback items regularly receive microsoft responses on submissions in feedback app can see doing feedback. please revisit see status of feedback items.  

in order submit new feedback, please follow these steps:

  1. on windows 10 device, search “feedback hub” in cortana search, launch app.
  2. navigate feedback in left menu, press + add new feedback.
  3. select problem, , share details think relevant, , choose appropriate category , subcategory.
  4. important: if possible, reproduce problem(s) after clicking begin monitoring (or start capture) near end of form; stop monitoring when you’re done.
  5. once you’ve completed form , monitoring, click submit.
  6. click continue using feedback hub.
  7. click my feedback at top, find item submitted (it may take while appear).
  8. open item submitted, click share.
  9. click copy link, paste link here in response (it https://aka.ms/<unique link>).

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance.
