Windows 10 Tablet- Screen Rotation only works while booting and when - Microsoft Community

hi, screen rotation of tablet(trekstor wintron 10 windows 10 home 1703

recently stopped working.

the curios thing is, there conditions rotation still works:

  • when tablet boots, rotation accurate, when boot finished , lockscreen ist shown, rotation stops working.
  • before windows updates installed.(fresh installation of windows 10 1703 or after system reset)
  • when windows store app aida64 opened , reads out the accelerometer. rotation continues working until restart system, stops after closing app.

steps have done repair error:

  • reinstall sensor drivers
  • install newest driver directly website of sensor manufacturer(kionix)
  • reset windows 10(the rotation works until install windows 10 updates)
  • fresh install of windows 10(the rotaton works until install windows updates)
  • restart system

the error appeared , feels windows shuts down the accelerometer standby. explain, why works while booting , when read out app. maybe caused latest windows updates becauses roation has worked before since months/years.

this know error , kindly hope here knows solution problem.

rotation concerns can caused incompatibility in drivers, outdated os, corruption in system files , such. determine what's causing concern, please provide information on following:

  • windows 10 os build. (settings > system > about)
  • driver version installed tablet. (device manager > double click on driver > driver tab)
  • update history. (settings > update & security > update history)

note: can use built-in snipping tool windows 10 if want post screenshot of systems information instead. please delete sensitive information product id os build page.

for now, suggest updating tablet latest build , use generic driver windows 10 uninstalling driver tablet's manufacturer.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance.
