Last windows update messed up my pc - Microsoft Community

last update, pc hangs after 1 min or less logged in, or in logging screen. did restore system before update , tried update windows again, same results, had restore system again.

pc hangs , have manually reset it, others got differents bsof like: "irql_not_less_or_equal", "clock watchdog timeout" or "machine exception".

system:

i7 7700k
x270 gaming k5
16 gb ddr4 3000 mhz
gtx 1070

idea what's going on?

can analyze minidumps if make them available onedrive or other file sharing sites (such mediafire). if have problems uploading minidumps copy them desktop or documents folder , upload them there.

these not resolve issue ensure more stable os work make changes.

windows key + x - command prompt (admin) or windows powershell (admin)

(run these 1 line @ time.)

sfc /scannow

note if shows uncorrected errors - continue regardless.

when completes run these :

dism /online /cleanup-image /checkhealth

dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

note if shows uncorrected errors - continue regardless.

restart computer.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
