Settings app crashes immediately after selecting a setting in the - Microsoft Community

for past few days have been having trouble windows 10 settings app crashing. happens is, whenever click on setting in menu, automatically crashes. exceptions "update & security", "ease of access" , "devices". not crash when click on them , function correctly. along this, cannot access of settings crashed above through other ways of access. when right-click on desktop , select personalization or display settings, these launch settings app second, before crashing before. occurs on action center/network tray in bottom-right corner of screen. when click on wi-fi, flight mode or mobile hotspot buttons, nothing , don't change shade/colour or anything. way control network settings @ moment 'win + l' locking pc , clicking on network settings through lockscreen. allows me change wi-fi networks, turn on flight mode , turn on/off wi-fi.

i have searched problem on google no luck , hope can me issue. fyi, pc i'm using desktop built myself running windows 10 home (kb4025376) , not laptop. have created test local admin account on pc, affected problem. appreciated, i've been struggling problem days , have not been able connect mobile hotspot. thanks!

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
