Network adapter not waking up - Microsoft Community

this issue started after windows 10 creator's update. occasionally, 10% of time, network adapter not wake after system put sleep. network troubleshooter insists cable not plugged in properly. 2 ways have found restore network connection either (a) restart pc or (b) remove , rediscover device via device manager. both restore network connection,

the device has latest driver. have set power management not let windows turn off device save power.

the adapter intel(r) 82579v gigabit network connection integrated on motherboard.

i have additional information. morning adapter not wake up. went device manager , looked @ status;

device not exist.

i right clicked on device , selected 'scan hardware changes' , re-enabled itself.
