im getting message can  i do.  im not deleting 3d driveguard or 3d builder without knowing how replace it.

hi kathleen,

the "missing vcruntime140.dll" error may have been caused system file corruption. there might missing files or documents. error occurs when launching apps or installing office. investigate issue, please clarify following:

  • have made changes prior issue?
  • are getting error when launching apps? if so, apps having issues with?

in meantime, if you're having issues in launching apps, suggest uninstalling , reinstalling it. uninstall application that's downloaded windows store, kindly refer steps provided on link. click on drop-down menu , choose "remove in settings". on other hand, uninstall program that's not downloaded in windows store, please refer these steps:

  1. go to control panel.
  2. under programs, click uninstall program.
  3. click program want uninstall.
  4. click uninstall.

to reinstall apps windows store, perform following steps:

  1. from start menu, type store and press enter.
  2. on search bar, type in name of app want reinstall , press enter.
  3. click free or buy and wait program install.

if program not downloaded windows store, recommend checking software developer's website download it.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
