Mobile Hotspot is connceting for a long time - Microsoft Community

hye, i'm using windows 10 pro. whenever i'm trying turn on mobile hotspot,but connecting longer time. not turn on @ all.

windows 10 has feature enables computer become hotspot. helps users extend signal of wireless internet connection other devices. if doesn’t work properly, need refresh connection of source (wifi router). in way, eliminate intermittent connectivity , return network status when started using internet. resolve concern, suggest reset tcp/ip or internet protocol default settings. this, follow instructions below:

 

step #1: run network troubleshooter. diagnose network configuration, perform steps below:

 

1. open start menu, click settings icon.

2. click network & internet.

3. on left pane, click status.

4. click network troubleshooter diagnose , fix network problems.

 

step #2: perform internet connection reset via command prompt. reset internet connection, follow steps below:

 

1. press windows + r open run window.

2. type cmd, press enter.

3. type following commands, press enter after typing each commands below:

netsh int ip reset resettcpip.txt

netsh winhttp reset proxy

netsh int ip reset

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

ipconfig /flushdns

netsh winsock reset

4. restart pc complete process.

 

step #3: suggest restart router , wait 15-30 seconds turn again. then, visit link: use pc mobile hotspot establish tethering , use computer again mobile hotspot.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
