HP Accelerometer compatibility issues - Microsoft Community


i have hp envy x360 , when turned on pc display popped in screen saying hp accelerometer not compatible pc , suggested update it. not familiar workings of computer wizardry. how resolve problem?

hello.

try following.

download version of hp 3d driveguard on following link , save downloads folder.

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp81001-81500/sp8...

download , install x64 version of 7-zip on link below.

http://www.7-zip.org/

when you've installed 7-zip, open downloads folder, right click on sp81142 package, select 7-zip, select extract files , click ok.

cut newly extracted folder , paste on desktop it's easy find.

when done, hold down windows key , press r

run window, type devmgmt.msc , hit enter.

in device manager, expand system devices, right click hp mobile data protection sensor entry , select 'update driver software'.

in following window, select 'browser computer driver software' , select 'let me pick list of device drivers on computer'.

in next window, click 'have disk' button , browse extracted sp81142 folder pasted on desktop.

browse sub-folder installfiles, open folder win10, left click on file accelerometer highlight , click open.

click on 'ok' , click 'next' , wait driver install.

when done, click 'close' , click 'yes' restart notebook.
