Homegroup media sharing - Microsoft Community

hi,

first let me start dont really homegroups, if feel there knowledge gap somewhere feel free elaborate

my problem shared files, have smart samsung tv @ home, can stream media files directly pc (computer dell xps 15 windows 10 home), managed settings rights , thing works beautifully.

my problem shared, when homegroup asked me library want share, selected "video" , "printers", rest left unselected. there videos folder in main folders, , there shared, neat. issue has access more videos, has access videos on onedrive, videos shot on iphone (where have onedrive installed) available stream on tv now!

as far can tell, videos shared these 2 locations, main "videos" folder on windows, , main "pictures" folder onedrive (videos , photos stored under folder, videos being shared since did not share photos)

can setting modified, want control homegroup devices see, i.e. want share main "videos" folder, other videos anywhere else want private

it seems homegroup media sharing detects , shares video's included on pc not main video folder. suggest going specific folder not want share onedrive , stop sharing folder using share option. see image reference:

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
