Windows 10 store videos and Amazon cause the whole PC to stutter every - Microsoft Community

hello, after upgrading the windows 10 fall creators update can't watch videos use drm, such amazon or windows store videos because whole pc stutters continuously @ 2 seconds interval. non drm videos work well.

i have tried performing clean install of display drivers multiple times using latest versions available no avail.

an interesting clue following error once every time after reboot when launch steam big picture: "d3d device removed due dxgi_error_device_reset, indicates driver bug, or gpu hardware failing/overheating. if running game @ time of error game may have triggered driver bug or caused gpu overheat. big picture must exit." after error steam's big picture works normally.

another error occurs once @ random time after every reboot screen freezes , blacks out , "restarts" if display driver had crashed , recovered, there no error message.

what's worse can't roll update longer reason option has disappeared recovery options menu.  

could guys please me out? not want have reinstall windows scratch again.

a bad sector can 1 of factors why issue occurs. assist concern, suggest run surface test on hard drive using chkdsk command-line. chkdsk windows utility can check integrity of hard disk , can fix various file system errors. this, follow steps below:

  1. in search box, type command prompt.
  2. right-click on command prompt , select run administrator.
  3. once user account control window pops up, click yes.
  4. type command below , press enter.
    chkdsk /f /r
    note: it take time finish process when running chkdsk.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
