Problems finding printer on Windows 10 laptop - Microsoft Community

i have hp envy 5530 device , having  problem using on windows 10 laptop.

 

i've connected printer using wifi. used work ok found having problems print jobs being held indefinitely in queue. after googling problem uninstalled app , reinstalled it.

 

the printer still isn't working. if under ˜printer , scanner" in settings can find printer. have attached print screen , printer second 1 listed.

 

 

if try , print page word document printer not listed. see second print screen.

 

 

if go ˜printer , scanner" screen , click on ˜devices , printers" (in top right of screen) list of printers includes hp envy  (see third print screen). if @ status says "removing device" , icon seems greyed out.

 

 

finally i've gone ˜printers , scanners", , clicked on hp envy 5530 icon , on manage button. i've clicked on ˜run troubleshooter"  , after few seconds has asked me ˜apply fix"  (see next print screen). 

 

 

 

 

it tells me "no physical printer installed". see final screen below.

 

 

 

one other point might important. when downloaded drivers , tried connect printer got following error.

 

 

we have laptop in our house can print no problems @ same printer. laptop works ok on other applications , can connect internet ok.

 

so isn't problem printer or wifi. seems more unusual problem drivers and/or windows 10.

 

does know might going on here?

if problem persist, contact support.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
