when try print screen printing other screen instead of screen visible me, should need configure resolve this.

performing print screen in windows 10 should capture current screen you're in.

learning other way around what's happening on pc, kindly provide answers following able learn more what's happening on print screen function:

  • is windows 10 updated?
  • are drivers up-to-date? if not, can follow steps found on link on how update drivers in windows 10.
  • when did issue start? recent changes made before printing screen didn't worked should be?
  • can figure out screen it's capturing instead?

in meantime, may run hardware , devices troubleshooter find , repair problems devices , hardware:

  1. right-click the start icon, select control panel.
  2. choose large icons option view by drop down list found on upper-right part of control panel window.
  3. locate select troubleshooting.
  4. click view all left pane.
  5. locate , click hardware , devices run troubleshooter follow next steps.

let's initiate clean boot make sure no application causing issue. clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts occur when running or installing program in windows 10.
note: please go through section: how reset computer start usual after troubleshooting clean boot of kb article boot computer in normal startup after fixing issue.

may consider creating administrator account see if same issue happen there.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance.
