90 Year Old user - need to disable all changes, including tablet mode - Microsoft Community


hello,

my father 90 years old.  his eye/hand coordination poor, tremors in hand.  he uses computer play backgammon , check email.  i have set father user on computer, due confusion , poor eye/hand coordination, manages change desktop tablet mode.  this confusing him.  is there way permanently disable tablet mode , prevent him making changes desktop appearance ever?

look kiosk mode. however, works windows 10 professional (as enterprise , education) , universal windows apps. dad's backgammon game , email program may not qualify uwa's.

third-party parental control software, used protect children, can severely lock down computer. it's unlikely have particular limitations asking for.

you should have @ windows 10's 'ease of access' settings, include people hand tremors.

ultimately, think you'll need search web program has particular features need.
