Re installing an uninstalled program and solution to Eject my CD-ROM - Microsoft Community

hello, how install programme (hl-dt-st dvdram gu70n) system lenovo g50. uninstalled cos thought problem cd rom refusing eject. have tried virtually geek advice from web non worked. uninstalling last resort can't reinstall now. want know how , answers eject cd rom. note, there no disc inside.

based on details have provided, possible cd rom itself damaged or cannot found. however, need make sure case. kindly perform methods of troubleshooting , check if there changes: 

method 1: update drivers.

method 2: hardware , devices troubleshooter. 

to run troubleshooter, follow these steps: 

  1. on search bar, type troubleshooting and hit enter. 

  2. choose hardware , sound. 

  3. click on hardware , devices to run troubleshooter. 

method 3: clean boot.     

to perform clean boot, click here.     

note: reset computer normal mode once done troubleshooting following section "how reset computer start after clean boot troubleshooting" from same article.  

if issue still persists, you can download , install that program manufacturer's website. , if program not available, recommend contact manufacturer for further assistance.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
