Operating system couldn't be loaded because a critical system - Microsoft Community

after turning off (custom built) pc using on/off switch (rather using shutdown) , turning on, presented me blue screen telling me device/pc needs repaired, operating system couldn't loaded because critical system driver missing or contains errors. error code 0xc000007b.

in startup repair have 3 options: continue (which sends me in loop beginning), turn off pc (not particularly helpful) , troubleshoot.

when try "reset pc" ( , "keep files") told "there problem resetting pc. no changes made."

in advanced options have 6 options:

  • system restore - "no restore points have been created on computer"
  • system image recovery - " windows cannot find system image on computer"
  • startup repair - "startup couldn't repair pc"
  • command prompt - i've tried sfc scannow, dism, disabling automatic startup repair , other ways of rebooting things, non of have worked
  • startup settings - i've experimented of recommended settings non of have worked
  • go previous version - "we ran problem , wont able take previous version of windows. try resetting pc instead"

this last resort before paying try , fix it.

i running windows 10 digitally upgraded windows 7.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
