No sound from internal speaker only on Windows 10 with realtek drivers - Microsoft Community

where begin?

a few months sound stopped working tried basics volumes , troubleshooter etc... nothing.

gave bit , stuck using headphones.... not ideal work around.

eventually grew sick of , fixed few other bugs including wifi adapter starting off , windows calc not working etc , chose give sound go after fixing smaller bugs.

curently, if download latest realtek drivers high def audio , install using .exe files. speaker sound work great post restart of completing install , device manager shows these changes correctly.

however!!!!! 

once shutdown , give 2 mins shutdown switch on square 1 no sound, drivers still show newest versions.

points note:

not hardware related speakers work fine on restart after driver install.

im running win 10 home

on gigabyte p35g v2 laptop

headphones work fine 

realtek driver installed r2.82 (6.0.1.8186)

please me fix permantly!

possible due audio driver conflict. troubleshoot issue, kindly verify following:

  • any recent changes made on computer prior issue, such installing specific update?
  • which windows 10 version/build installed on computer? check, type winver in search option.
