New PC with fresh installed WIN 10 Home all time spikes on 100% - Microsoft Community

hi,

first of pc:

mb: asus prime b350m-a, socket am4, ddr4, vga, dvi, hdmi

cpu: amd ryzen 5 1600x

ram: g.skill 16 gb (2x8 gb) ddr4, 2400 mhz, dimm, flare x

gc: evga nvidia gforce gtx 1060 3gb

ssd disk 480 gb, amd radeon r3, 2.5", sata iii

hdd storage toshiba 2 tb

it new pc, except ssd, hdd , gc (these components 6 months old). bought 5 days ago.

problem day 1 fresh installed win 10 home start spiking 100% , freeze 20-30 sec.

doesnt matter if in game, or browsing on chome. spike try open new tab on chrome.

few minutes earlier happens in game (world of tanks).

1. had check drivers - date

2. had check ssd , hd - ok (run disk cleanup , defrag)

3. watch tuts on yt , did suggested done

4. contact online microsoft support tech log inn comp , did changes programs , give me new win 10 update ver. 1703 ver. 1709 , told me shure problem solved.

well, problem not solved.

first of all, rly many tanx martin, try , apritiate lot. thx , time.

i think solved problem.

i did:

1. reinstall win 10 home - same happening again without other programs installed.

2. put power setting on maximum performance

3. in power setting under pci exspress turn off link state power management

4. under system - notifications , action - put off

5. did again in first post (three vids yt)

i use afternoon , evening computer , didnt happen spike 100% again.

this case far closed , solved

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
