ge Issues - Microsoft Community

hi support @ microsoft,

thank interest. trouble shooter stated device or resource not connected.

the version os 1703 ie , edge build 15063.483

i totally reset ie, rebooted , found nothing had changed edge still showing h’mm …….

i have deleted microsoft.microsoft edge….. folder found in packages , reinstalled using recommended file , edge returned – no internet connection.

i have checked registry , compared of working laptop edge version , found no conflict.

i not willing reinstall windows though liked edge rather live without reinstall programs.

i had done scan using avg , malaware bytes prior issue edge had done in past without drama.

i try restore point unlike win 7 there none automatically installed whenever new program placed nothing go to.

i have made direct cable connection router no difference wifi

chrome , ie work perfectly

if type 192.168.1.1 edge connects router

if turn off wifi edge responds “no connection”

but cannot else h’mm can’t reach page.

i have turned off virus , malware protection , windows firewall – no result.

what else can check???????????

by way, not ms support. user-to-user mutual support forum users ask questions , users answer questions. ms involvement extremely limited , useful.
