Fast Computer, Slow Boot caused by Memory Card Reader - Microsoft Community

hello all!

have windows 10 home following system settings:

ryzen 7
16 gb ram
1070 gtx
samsung 960 m.2 (really fast)
drivers up-to date , hardware vendors not windows update.

i added multi-card reader attaches motherboards usb3.0 port. windows appears await each drive 2 seconds during boot turned sub 1 second boot time 17 seconds.

card reader : "shintaro blazer usb3.0 int card reader" don't think card reader problem, people have same issue when usb drives attached pc during boot.

my question, how delay initialisation of card reader. want initialise after boot process complete (or other way stop delay).

if card reader attached device while booting, suggest remove it. need connect pc once boot process complete.

in case, can delay initialization of card reader.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance.
