After reinstalling Windows 10, clock stuck in military time but - Microsoft Community

after issue virus affected internet browsers , kept turning off windows defender, windows 10 recommended fresh reinstall of operating system. once did that, saw clock in task bar displayed military time. calendar did not come when left clicked date , time display. right click provide menu access settings adjustments made there not take. saw other users had problem , instructed use link in control panel adjust time format similarly, nothing happened when clicking on link. did reinstall of operating system , same problem persists. however, have noticed welcome/login screen display time in proper, civilian format. there other way adjust clock?

based on information have provided, seems operating system corrupted. suggest perform repair upgrade using windows 10 iso file. mentioned andre da costa in forum article, performing can repair broken operating system files while preserving personal files, settings , installed applications. check article complete instructions.

note: personal data , files external hard drive, usb thumb drive, or cloud location (such onedrive) before begin reinstallation of windows 10 avoid data loss.
