38-character "product code" - Microsoft Community

i ran troubleshooter uninstalling program isn't listed in windows 10 apps list described at http://support.microsoft.com/mats/program_install_and_uninstall

the troubleshooter asks 38-character product code.  

to find code, tried running command in command prompt , administrative command prompt:

get-wmiobject -class win32_product

that not recognized command.  next, in powershell, ran get-wmiobject -class win32_product.  got list of installed apps 38-character codes, 1 want uninstall not on list.

what should try next?

hi fg1926, program trying uninstall . . .

happens quite in windows 10.

go folder program installed
should see file named uninst.exe, run file

if file not exist:

either reinstall program , uninstall - reinstalling fixes uninstall routine being missing

otherwise, delete program folder c"\program files or c:\program files (x86) , programdata folder on c drive.

leave few registry keys, issue . . .

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
