Toshiba R50-BX2101 Touch Pad Not Working!! - Microsoft Community


dear microsoft,

i have read reply to basavarajbabu's question "toshiba pc touch pad disabled on windows 10. how enable same."   have tried doing have told them do, doesn't work. have toshiba windows 10 laptop, touch pad doesn't work, unfortunately, there other advice problem? (my computer a toshiba r50-bx2101..

if touchpad isn’t working, may result of missing or out-of-date driver.

follow instruction below.

1.  on start windows logo start button, search device manager, , select list of results. under mice , other pointing devices, select touchpad, open it, select driver tab, , select update driver. if windows doesn't find new driver, 1 on device manufacturer's website , follow instructions.

2.  if steps didn't work, try uninstalling touchpad driver: open device manager, right-click (or press , hold) touchpad driver, , select uninstall. restart device , windows attempt reinstall driver.

3.  if didn't work, try using generic driver that comes windows. here's how: in device manager, right-click (or press , hold) touchpad driver > update driver software... > browse computer driver software > let me pick list of device drivers on computer, select hid compliant mouse, select next, , follow instructions install it.
