My Asus laptop has been dead for three days since Windows 10 update - Microsoft Community

i have been fighting laptop last 3 days. when restarted laptop on monday, got blue screen , mentioned trying fix problem. @ 0% , went blank. had restart , sign in screen came showing name , went main screen. no desktop or task bar icons loaded , little circle continued spin. see spinning in task bar. screen went black. tried starting many times , same result.

the update done on weekend , restarted laptop sunday. worked ok , showed windows sorted pictures kind of file??? noticed on right hand side of task bar 2 figures this, )0. 1 behind other. looks user icon??

my laptop loaded windows 7 , took advantage of free windows 10 upgrade. sorry did windows 10 has messed things on every update. missing email accounts, desktop icons made smaller @ times , rearranged etc. can't reinstall windows 10 don't have disk cause free update???

if spending money tech remedy issue way resolve it, windows 10 going out window.

help please....

power on , off computer 3 times
on third time, computer boot advanced recovery environment
click advanced options
click troubleshoot
click reset pc
click keep files
choose account
enter password
click continue
click reset

if not work, download, create bootable copy of windows 7:

create bootable copy, boot try formatting hard disk reinstall windows 7.

boot windows 7 dvd
click install
accept license agreement
when option displayed select installation type, click (custom advanced)
click drive options
select drive/s click delete
click new
click apply
click ok
click format , click next proceed installation

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
