i the msvcp120.dll either not designed run on windows or contains error when try run half of programs on computer. please let me know how fix have tried delete visual c++ , install lasted 1 2017 still doesn't work , have end installing older versions because half of games play use older version battlefield , obs , many more. please help.

also, don't know if need computer specifications put them anyway.

it's odd half of programs won't run because of error message "msvcp120.dll either not designed run on windows or contains error". .dll culprit behind why error message showing up. however, let's try if these steps make difference:

  1. we're going test first 1 of programs. uninstall 1 of programs experiencing issue.
  2. manually replace dll once done uninstalling program.
  • remove msvcr120.dll c:\windows\system32\msvcr120.dll.
  • download , install visual c++ redistributable packages visual studio 2013.
  • restart computer.

          download c++ 2013 library on link.

      3. install program again you've uninstalled using

          account or user profile has administrator rights ,

          administrator privileges. may need right-

          click , run program administrator.

      4. once done installing program, run , see if the

          issue persists.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
