Microsoft Login Credentials on Refurbished Dell Laptop - Microsoft Community

i bought certified refurbished dell laptop windows pro. turned dell on first time , went through set-up process cortana. did not add microsoft login credentials during set-up , skipped step because don't have microsoft account.

then once set complete, dell did update , booted up.

then computer goes straight login screen, once make account on computer, , not allow me log in computer @ all.

it has other user (not name), space type user name , space type password. there sign in option offers phone # or email address password.

since didn't add microsoft login credentials during set-up, i'm not sure why it's asking me these if didn't set 1 in first place.

i talked dell tech support person , since it's not hardware issue, told me talk microsoft. talked microsoft , tech support told me had clean install windows again...windows installed (that's how setting computer when first turned on).

anyways, should return refurbished dell or there can do?
