Task Host Windows crashing shortly after startup - Microsoft Community

has else had task host window crashing since fall creators update? it's been happening me regularly since. annoying, happens think if put load on cpu when computer loading startup stuff. restoring windows fix have found if log out in , wait long time rights itself. annoying microsoft.

application failure triggering failure.

have checked store updates , install latest updates windows 10 1709?

if kb4048955 not yet installed, recommend do.

try these first see if work:

open start, type: cmd
right click cmd
click run administrator

type in @ prompt or copy , paste these 1 @ time : (hit enter after each)

dism /online /cleanup-image /checkhealth

dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

run system file checker utility:
open start, type: cmd
right click cmd
click run administrator

@ command prompt, type: sfc/scannow

check integrity violations

restart system
