Windows 10 Creator's Update Fresco Logic USB3 driver issue - Microsoft Community

hello community !

i under windows v1511 , since wasn't able process internet update anniversary update , creator's update.

i decided reinstall windows iso downloaded windows 10 mediacreationtool.

i'm under v1703 (creator's update) i'm experiencing strange problem : 2 usb3 ports of my gigabyte ga-h61n-usb3 mainboard no longer works !!! when plug in nothing happens... (not sound).

i verified bios , usb3 still enabled. have no missing peripherals in windows.

when try install fresco logic usb 3 drivers (last , old packages), installation fails...

i think reason why can't update automatically v1511 newer windows versions because of driver issue... understand :'(

if has clue or experienced same problem , found how solve .. appreciated. need usb3 slots don't want downgrade...

hi chavroux did download fresco usb 3.0 drivers from? gigabyte support page drivers not supported on windows 10 fresco website has new drivers windows 10 - try downloading usb 3.0 host controller driver page: https://support.frescologic.com/portal/kb/articles/latest-drivers

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
