when monitor goes to sleep all notifcation and sounds cease - Microsoft Community

started fall creators update on desktop pc. have power settings computer never sleep , monitor shut off after 10 minutes. after monitor shuts off email , email sounds cease happen. when move mouse , wake monitor emails should have come in while monitor off come in. it's if computer sleeping or hard drive sleeping when monitor shuts off. cant figure out how fix this.

check if hibernating.

press windows key + x
click power options
under related settings, click additional power settings

click change when computer sleeps
click change advanced power settings
expand sleep
expand hibernate after

change on battery , pluggged in never

click apply ok
click save changes

see if helps.
