How To Run Multiple Version Of the Same Program in Windows 10. - Microsoft Community

hello, everyone.

i'm stuck. work online company uses kinda application have download. that's app 1 working on submit work. okay?

they have 2 versions: 1 compatible windows 10, , other windows 8.  well, downloaded version of windows 10 , installed successfully.

now here technical problem seek answer for. app login login details of account. partner works me requesting use computer submit work. agree coz laptop went out of charge.

once log out of app , enters login details, app opens/logins account login details.

i have tried run app in "different user" mode , still behaves same way.

i'm asking experts these 2 questions:

  1)  possible create 2 or more "short cuts—icons" on display screen same app? such 1 icon contains details , second partner. such can open both of them without integrating or overlapping information?

  2)  secondly, possible download such app twice without newer (latest download) updating previous one. to have 2 installs of version installed , have shortcut icons on display screen, , them running independently without overlapping?

3)  can can able use same app without overriding details of different accounts.—remember, have tried run different user creating different user account. 

i'll appreciate helpful information me solve problem.

looking possibly setting dual boot configuration copy of windows 10 or windows 8.1 or install copy of windows 10 in virtual machine install there.

there loophole lets install , activate windows 10 on partition , activate automatically.

if app referring uses form of licensing, might problem if need install second copy.

can install windows 10 in virtual machine program such oracle virtualbox install app there. see example, refers windows xp same instructions work windows 10 or windows 8.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
