BSOD whenever trying to access hard drive from "My Computer" - Microsoft Community


hi, 

a few days ago, when trying access file on 1 of hard drives, met bsod said unexpected kernal mode trap. not sure means, followed guide on , post , guess should here. bsod can replicate, , if pc launched in safe mode, can hdd without issues. can folders in hard drive long type folder extension in address bar.

hello,

since the blue screen error doesn't happen in safe mode, it's possible 1 of software or driver might conflicting computer. may click on link troubleshoot blue screen errors , follow on-screen instructions.

keep posted result.
