BSoD Unmountable Boot Volume - Microsoft Community

i built pc , have run error. turned pc off , when turned on error popped up. read guides telling me restore windows 10 media installation tool. when tried use that, show lit black screen. can bios , boot usbs there. plugged in original usb when bought windows 10 , let me partially boot up. bring me screen asking me whether boot windows 10 (32-bit) or windows 10 (64-bit). there option boot safe mode form boot screen. tried booting windows 10 safe mode , 64-bit , both brought me lit black screen. have option on bios go straight can boot usbs or bios setup. went place can boot usbs , went bios setup. @ first had 2 options, usb , uefi version(both bringing me black screens) when went bios setup , out usb screen had 4 options. 1 being windows boot manager , other being su800 adata (my ssd) windows boot manager bring me lit black screen , su800 adata bring me page read recovery: pc/device needs repaired. error code oxc0000185 tells me need recovery tool , contact pc manufacturer or administrator. recovery tool brings me black screen. not know know.

ryzen 7 1700 cpu

msi tomahawk b350 mobo

gtx 1080 gpu

evga gold 850w psu

su800 adata 512gb ssd

windows 10 home

this stop error can occur if problem causes pc shut down or restart unexpectedly. want clarify, able follow suggestions posted ken_wu , likhitha v in thread? if still haven't, may give try , see if makes difference. however, if keep on experiencing black screen error, may try troubleshooting steps in article: troubleshoot black screen or blank screen errors.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
