Error during PIN setup - Microsoft Community

hi,

i've installed windows 10 scratch on dell xps 9560. have used office 365 account create user connected azure ad. drive encrypted bitlocker. 

after enter password log windows following screen:

then after click on set pin receive following message: 

after clicking skip can log windows. same thing happens when go settings -> accounts -> sing-in options -> pin -> add.

this happens every time log in windows after reboot or start-up. if laptop not connected network screen not appear. guess it's related azure ad. other people in company have same laptops , setup office 365 accounts , connected azure ad don't have issue. difference installed pcs local admin user , after install created ad user , deleted local admin user.

i cannot remove pin because don't have set up.

i've tried playing options in gpedit.msc with setting turn on pin did not help. i've tried deleting ngc folder , did not either.

i've logged in company microsoft intune account set admin -> windows -> windows hello business -> enable , no luck.

i've created local admin account not connected azure ad , account can create , remove pin option signing in no issues.

any suggestions ?

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
