No Advanced Display Settings and my resolution is no longer available - Microsoft Community

my pc crashed , can't screen resolution go back to correct setting.  advanced display settings no longer option when go display settings:

also, , i've never taken notice before, doesn't seem find video card.  video card ati radeon hd 4200.  updated drivers in case.  when didn't work tried rolling older driver version , didn't work. 

i think isn't finding video adapter @ all.  shows this:


here system specs:

my monitor samsung 23 inch led.  resolution options have available

1280 x 1024

1152 x 864

1024 x 768 (recommended)

800 x 600

i think used slider in past set resolution closer 1920 x 1080 samsung documentation recommends.

how fix because crazy annoying.

moved from: windows / windows 10 / devices & drivers

the options didn't work.  frustrating.  decided system restore has fixed time being.  follow-up blocking suggestion try prevent happening again.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
