Headphone jack not working - Microsoft Community

hi, own toshiba satellite laptop , after performing latest windows updates found headphone jack not working had done before installing said updates. when plug in headphones not recognised computer when open device manager , click show disabled , disconnected devices. there no problems headphones work other devices , worked laptop before. have tried updating , rolling drivers indicated in other forums no avail. know how fix issue?
