Some Start Menu Tile Icons go missing (blank) approximately 35 - Microsoft Community

approximately 35 seconds after new explorer task executed (either after logging in or after manually end task , run new task) of start menu tile icons (running w10 full screen start menu) go missing (blank). ending explorer session , running restores them ~35 seconds. same tiles affected each time. started around 3 4 months ago (not sure version os running @ time patches installed on patch tuesday (currently running 15063.482). not part of insider program , never have been.

i have not been able find references exact issue. has else had this? there known fix?

this issue may occur due incorrect system settings or corrupted system files. isolate issue, we’d ask following questions:

  • what make , model of device?
  • which windows version , build using? type winver on search bar, , press enter to find out.
  • have made significant changes on device before issue occurred?
  • what troubleshooting procedure have done far?

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
