in device manager, under "sound, video & game controllers" there 2 different items listed. first 1 listed has yellow exclamation point before name, "high definition audio device". have updated driver exclamation point still there. right-clicking on properties shows message: "this device cannot start (code 10), requested operation unsuccessful." events information: "device hdaudio\func_01&ven_8086&dev_2807&subsys_10280622&rev_1000\4&39679b84&0&0001 requires further installation."
the other item under "sound, video & game controllers" "realtec audio". right-clicking on properties shows message: "this device working properly". events information shows 2 entries, both date of 8/10/2017:

my question: sound computer seems normal. is realtec audio sound, video & game controller needed? if so, should uninstall high definition audio device? sure appreciate advice on this.
